Registration
• Bidders must register before participating in the auction.
Time Bid
• You can bid online before the live auction starts. Log in to your account at moretonauctions.com. Choose Upcoming Auctions to find the one you want. Browse lots, add items to your Watched Lots, and bid.
Bidder Paddle
• Bidders are assigned a paddle or number for identification.
• Floor bidders should display their paddles visibly when making bids.
Maximum Bid
• The highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. When you set your maximum bid, Moreton auctions system can bid on your behalf, up to that amount. The system raises bids in minimum increments, ensuring you get the lot at the best price.
Reserve Prices
• Some lots may have reserved prices. When you are placing your bid in an auction and you have not met the reserve, you will be notified.
Bid Cancellation
• Bids are binding; once accepted, they cannot be canceled
Auctioneer’s Decision
• The auctioneer has the right to determine the winning bid, resolve disputes and re-offer items if necessary
Payment Terms
• All transactions are conducted in US dollars (USD).
• Bidders may pay in local currency (PHP) equivalent based on prevailing exchange rates.
• Online bidders and Floor bidders can make bank deposits to our designated bank account
• Floor Bidders can pay with cash or checks at the event location. Customers paying by check will undergo a clearing period before their items are shipped
Condition of Items
• Items are sold “as is” and bidders should inspect items before bidding.
Buyer’s Premium
• A buyer’s premium of 15% will be added to the final hammer price
• The buyer’s premium is not included in the announced bid and will be calculated separately
Disqualification of Bidders
• Auctioneer reserves the right to disqualify bidders for non-compliance with rules.
Shipping
• All international shipments of numismatic items will be insured for their full declared value. In the event of loss, damage, or theft during transit, customers may file a claim with the shipping carrier to receive compensation.
• Customers are responsible for complying with the customs regulations of both the origin and destination countries. Any duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by authorities are the sole responsibility of the recipient and must be paid upon delivery.
• By proceeding with an international shipment of numismatic items, customers acknowledge that while we take precautions, we are not liable for loss, damage, or theft during transit. Customers are encouraged to purchase additional insurance
